Bay Area Punk Shows Per Year

This is the amount of shows listed per year by The List since mid-October 1994.

The data was collected from archives of The List. The List is a listing of bay area punk, ska, thrash, etc. concerts. The duplicate shows were removed, and then the total shows for each year were added up.

Note that not all Bay Area concerts are listed on The List. This data makes it seem like there were far less shows in the 1990s than in the 2000s. This is possible. It is also possible that Steve, the author of The List, simply listed less shows in the 90s.
