Huggy Bear
Huggy Bear was an English punk rock band formed in 1988 in Hemel Hempstead, England. The band consisted of vocalist and guitarist Chris Dodd, bassist Spike T. Smith, and drummer Phil Wilson. Huggy Bear were known for their energetic live performances and their DIY ethic.
The band released their debut album, "Hooverdam", in 1992. The album was a critical and commercial success, and it helped to establish Huggy Bear as one of the leading punk bands of the 1990s. The band followed up "Hooverdam" with two more albums, "Man Alive" (1994) and "Taught by Experts" (1996).
Huggy Bear disbanded in 1998. However, the band reformed in 2008 and they have continued to release albums and tour ever since.
