Frau

Frau was a new wave band formed in London in 1980. The band consisted of four members: Noko (vocals), Julian Scott (guitar), Ian White (bass), and Alaric Neville (drums).

Frau released only one album, "Frau," in 1981. The album was a commercial failure, and the band broke up shortly after its release.

Frau's music was heavily influenced by the new wave and post-punk movements of the late 1970s and early 1980s. The band's sound was characterized by jangly guitars, driving bass lines, and Noko's distinctive vocals.

Although Frau never achieved commercial success, the band has since gained a cult following among fans of new wave and post-punk music. Their album, "Frau," is now considered a classic of the genre.

In 2017, Frau reunited for a series of live shows. The shows were a success, and the band has since continued to perform occasionally.
