Born Against

Born Against was an American punk band formed in Syracuse, New York, in 1990. The band was known for its aggressive, confrontational sound and its politically charged lyrics, which often dealt with topics such as class struggle, anarchism, and environmentalism.

The band was founded by guitarist/vocalist Sam McPheeters, bassist Adam Nathanson, and drummer Neil Burke. The trio released their debut album, "Nine Patriotic Hymns for Children", in 1993. Born Against released a total of four studio albums, the last of which, "The Better Life", was released in 2007. The band also released a number of EPs and singles, as well as a live album.
